Training consistently can be hard, thats why we’re here to change that! We offer 40+ small group training options per week designed specifically to challenge and progress students in a fun and encouraging environment of like minded movers – providing students with a priceless support network.

​We keep all our class sizes small so during any one of our sessions you get the most intensive and personalised coaching possible from our specialised and highly experienced coaches.

Our class programs will teach you how to build a stronger more agile body in the most efficient and effective way possible with class levels to suit all abilities from complete beginners to advanced and workouts that target the full-body, to more specific target areas.

Calisthenics is focused on body weight training and is perfect for anyone who has ever had a desire to perform a pull up. For complete beginners to advanced movers this class is for anyone wanting to upgrade their ninja skills or looking to master their back lever, muscle up, handstand pushup and more.

This body weight only class will push you to new levels and have you unlocking skills you may never have thought possible.

Whether you’re trying to get your first pull-up or adding seconds to your front lever these sessions have something for everyone.

Another great class for any beginner to start with.

A strong core is a necessity for any physical task whether it is kicking a football, running on the beach or carrying heavy bags of shopping to the car – the core is what connects us.

So join us for 60 minutes of core specific training designed to bulletproof your midline, help alleviate back pain and give you the strength required to generate force and stability through your movements.

Handstand Strength

One of the most sought after movements within the world of fitness.  The handstand.  Who doesn’t want the ability to balance effortlessly on ones hands and even move through different shapes and patterns while inverted?

The Handstand Strength class is focussed on developing the awareness, strength, mobility and control needed to be able to spend time upside down in a handstand.  From kicking up into your first handstand to hunting down the elusive one arm, training your inversions has numerous benefits and can be amazingly fun and rewarding.

Using a combination of calisthenics and weight based movements to gain confidence and strength whilst inverted.

The majority of us would love to be more flexible with greater range of motion but most of us struggle to find the time to dedicate to it.  This 60 minute class is designed to allow you to do just that.

Focusing on improving your flexibility in key areas such as shoulder and thoracic mobility, splits and back bends this class is a chance to focus in on those problem areas so you can start see progress.

Movement Acro

The most dynamic of our skills classes, Movement Acro involves floor-based, multi-directional movement like cartwheels, backbends, hand balances, forward and backward rolls.  This class aims to create strong, dynamic, coordinated movement.

Movement Acro is great for overall strength and conditioning and provides the perfect training of power, balance, agility and motor coordination.

Movement FLOW

Perfect for Beginners – This class is all about getting your hands and feet in contact with the ground so, kick off your shoes and prepare for 60 minutes of inspired movement. 

Training of any kind especially calisthenics requires you to learn new movement patterns and flow through the process of skill acquisition. Our movement classes are designed to prepare the body and undo the limitations placed on it from the modern world. So, kick off your shoes, find your flow and discover how to move your body in the way it was designed to with freedom and ease.

Movement flow is ground-based, bodyweight movement designed to improve a range of skills including speed, power, endurance, flexibility, mobility, and stability.

​Learn how to crawl, jump, leap and twist the way nature intended.

Olympic Lifting

60 minutes

Often referred to as gymnastics with a barbell – Olympic lifting will allow you to build explosive power and gain athletic edge in any pursuit you’re currently chasing. With the principles of weightlifting forming a fantastic basis of anybody’s exercise regime.

This is a skill development class and will provide high level coaching on technique and form. Using a mix of Olympic weightlifting and plyometrics these sessions are for those that want to be fast and powerful.

PickleSquash

60 minutes

A new sport entirely unique to Sequoia combining pickleball and squash into a high paced game that needs to be played to be understood.

Surprisingly easy and incredibly addictive, complete with in-house terminology and special rules for trick shots. We play rotating games of one-on-one or two-on-two and it’s first to 11.

Open Training

Our Open Training sessions provide access to either our Movement or Strength Room as stipulated at booking. Open training sessions are un-coached and non-programmed sessions and provide an opportunity for students to train outside of class times.

Overcoming Gravity

Why not take to the sky and learn to fly.

Suitable for all levels of ability and experience. This is your chance to train like a circus performer and develop a strong, functional and mobile body whilst learning how to use the Trapeze, Tissue (Aerial Silks), Lyra (Aerial Hoop), Sling (Aerial Hammock) or Rope.

Strength and Conditioning

This class combines lifting weights with anaerobic conditioning and is the perfect class for any beginner to start with.

Suitable for complete beginners to advanced.  Throughout the training week we focus on 5 main lifts from the squat, upper body push, pull, deadlift and bench.

Each class we will coach you through the basics or advanced versions of each lift as well as complimentary movements and exercises to really get the most from your training.

Looking for a way to improve your mobility and movement?

Improve your posture, increase your range of motion and strengthen your movement patterns to be able to do the things you want and need to do, without restrictions getting in your way.

So whether it’s bending down to tie your laces or ticking off the front splits from your bucket list. Our mobility classes at Sequoia is designed to help you increase your range of motion and provide students with easily adaptable movements, continuous progressions, and a systematic approach to developing greater flexibility with strength.

Gain the confidence in moving freely you will be taught everything you need to know about dance and movement from the ground up – developing sequencing skills and gaining insight on dance techniques and styles.

The Weekender

The Sequoia Weekender is our team workout session – one hour of high energy, endorphin fuelled movements to have you breathing heavy, sweating like crazy and working hard as a team!

Endurance training involves the manipulation of intensity, duration, and frequency of training sessions. This class will seek to improve your anaerobic and aerobic capacity over time using high energy full body movements to get your heart pumping.
